Senior Back-end Developers | Python/Django

We're looking for Senior Back-end Developers to join our engineering team and build the core backend systems behind products such as KYC, KYB, and Age Estimation, as well as our fraud prevention capabilities. Our back-end team currently consists of four Back-end Developers working closely with our Back-end Team Lead. We're now looking to add Senior-level experience to the team - someone who can contribute hands-on, help shape technical decisions, support the team's growth and build our products together with us. Our products combine AI-powered technologies with scalable, API-driven solutions to help businesses worldwide verify identities, prevent fraud, and build safer digital experiences across industries such as e-commerce, fintech, crypto, gaming, gambling, and many others. 🎯 What You'll Do Day to Day: Design, build and own back-end services using Python, Django and Django REST Framework, making well-reasoned technical decisions along the way Work with databases (MySQL, DynamoDB) and background tasks using Celery and Redis, with a focus on performance and security Write clean, tested code (Pytest) and give constructive, helpful code reviews Take part in sprint planning, estimate work realistically and raise risks early Use AI tools like Claude in your daily work to write, test and review code faster, and share good practices with the team Write technical and architecture documentation for the services you own Mentor less experienced teammates and help them grow as part of your everyday work Challenge and improve our coding practices, standards and tools Work closely with the front-end team to solve sprint tasks efficiently, and communicate clearly with product and other teams about progress, trade-offs and issues ✅ Requirements: Solid experience in back-end development with Python and Django (DRF), including building and maintaining production systems with a focus on ORM optimization, performance and security Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, DynamoDB or similar), Pytest, Git-based workflows and CI/CD Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude) for coding, testing and refactoring, with a critical eye on the output Experience mentoring others – as a Senior, you'll share best practices and help teammates grow Clear communication in English: you raise issues early, give and receive constructive feedback, and can explain technical topics to non-technical colleagues Experience with machine learning or ML-related development (nice to have) Tools You will Use: Python Django Django Rest Framework Claude Code Pytest AWS (Lambda, RDS, EKS, EC2, S3, DynamoDB) Celery Redis Nice To Have BitBucket CI/CD Grafana 🚀What we offer: A hybrid and very flexible work model – while we enjoy the flexibility of remote work, we truly value the energy and creativity that come from working together in the office.
