Java Developer

Title: Java Developer with Hadoop Location: Charlotte, NC Job Type:- Full Time Permanent Job Description: Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Primary Skill: Spring boot, Core java, Hadoop, pyspark, Hive Required Technical Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. • Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services. • Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architecture. • Experience with OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes. • Good understanding of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools. • Understanding of software design patterns and secure coding practices. Hadoop Experience (Good to Have / Secondary Skill) Candidate should possess working knowledge of: • Hadoop ecosystem concepts (HDFS, YARN, Hive) • Basic Hive query development and troubleshooting • Understanding of data ingestion and batch processing workflows • Experience working with Hadoop-based data platforms in support of application development • Exposure to Spark is a plus Note: Hadoop is a secondary skill. Candidates are not expected to perform deep Hadoop administration, cluster management, or advanced big-data engineering.
