Software Engineer / PayX Developer

Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and unit test PayX application modules. Design and develop REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations. Implement change requests (CRs), product enhancements, and defect fixes. Prepare deployment packages and support release and implementation activities. Collaborate with QA teams for SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution. Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and provide timely fixes. Ensure code quality through peer reviews and adherence to coding standards. Prepare technical documentation, methods of procedure (MOPs), and implementation guides. Support production releases, incident management, and ongoing platform maintenance. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features and enhancements within defined timelines. Mandatory Skills Java Spring Framework / Spring Boot Oracle SQL / PLSQL REST APIs JSON / XML Linux / Unix Git Maven Jenkins Microservices Architecture Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting API Development and System Integration Technical Documentation and Release Support Desirable Skills Experience in Digital Payments, Mobile Money, Wallet, Banking, or FinTech domains. Integration experience with payment, wallet, banking, or telecom systems. Exposure to UAT support, production deployments, and incident management. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration skills. Ownership, accountability, and quality-focused approach to delivery.
