Responsibilities: Design, secure, and scale back-end architectures supporting the evolution of third-party data ecosystems. Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and integrations to improve data accessibility, consistency, and real-time availability across systems. Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations supporting business processes and data exchanges. Translate functional and technical requirements into high-quality, scalable software solutions. Code and test software components in compliance with development and security standards. Implement unit and integration testing and contribute to defect analysis and resolution. Contribute to the design, modelling, and implementation of solutions, with a focus on code quality, maintainability, and performance. Industrialize solutions according to CI/CD best practices. Participate in code reviews and apply software engineering best practices, including clean architecture and design patterns. Contribute to Functional Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), supporting defect analysis and resolution. Support deployment activities and contribute to service continuity and continuous development. Ensure compliance with quality, security, and development standards and best practices. Work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business requirements. Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of the data ecosystem and related applications. Support application maintenance and development activities throughout the software development lifecycle. Analyse functional requirements from end users and contribute to the implementation and adoption of changes. Requirements: University degree, or equivalent professional experience, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field. Strong experience in Python development , including FastAPI, Flask , and related frameworks. Strong experience in API design, RESTful services, and microservices architectures. Experience with unit and integration testing , using frameworks such as PyTest or Unittest. Experience with test management tools such as ALM/Octane . Advanced SQL skills, including database design and optimisation, preferably with PostgreSQL . Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, Git workflows, code review, clean architecture, design patterns, unit testing, and observability. Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or IBM . Experience with containerisation using Docker . Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments. Experience with collaboration and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, and ALM . Experience with third-party data, data governance, or data management is a plus. Ability to work across multiple roles, including Technical Business Analyst, Developer, and Tech Lead responsibilities. Languages: English – Expert French – Basic / Notions Soft Skills: Strong ability to bridge IT and business needs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
