🚀 Java Developer | Zurich LUXOFT is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a global engineering team in Zurich. 📍 Location: Zurich, Switzerland 🏢 Work model: Hybrid — 3 days per week from the office in Zurich 📄 Contract: Permanent, unlimited 🔧 What you’ll do Design and develop microservices and enterprise applications Build scalable backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot Develop and maintain RESTful APIs Write clean, maintainable code and automated tests Optimize application and database performance Contribute to cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure Support CI/CD, DevOps, deployment, monitoring, and automation Ensure compliance with enterprise security and cloud standards Work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an agile environment Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development in daily engineering activities 💻 Mandatory skills 10+ years of Java development experience: Java 21+ Spring Boot 3.x / Spring Framework JSF (Jakarta Faces) — mandatory JoinFaces / PrimeFaces / OmniFaces Microservices architecture REST APIs Hibernate / JPA JUnit / Mockito SQL and database performance optimization Experience with IBM i DB2, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server Microsoft Azure - App Services, AKS, Key Vault, Storage, Entra ID, Azure Monitor / Application Insights PowerShell Git and CI/CD Docker / Kubernetes Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices GitHub Copilot / AI-assisted software development
