Senior Frontend Engineer

Your Responsibilities Developing and maintaining complex React applications using TypeScript Designing and implementing reusable UI components, as well as contributing to the design system Working closely with Design/UX, Product, and Backend teams to implement new features Responsibility for front-end testing (unit, integration, and E2E tests) Conducting code reviews and mentoring mid-level and junior developers Contributing to architecture and tooling decisions, as well as integration with backend APIs Contributing to CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments Your Skills Must-haves: A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a comparable qualification At least 5 years of professional experience in front-end development, including at least 3 years with React Very strong knowledge of TypeScript In-depth knowledge of modern state management Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development Solid understanding of browser technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Web APIs, performance) Experience with automated testing Nice-to-have: Experience with design systems, e.g., Storybook or Figma integration Experience in ride-hailing, logistics, or with dispatch and routing algorithms What sets you apart: Clean, maintainable code and a component-driven architecture User-centered approach and close feedback loops with UX Agile work methods, e.g., Scrum or Kanban Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills when collaborating with Design and Backend Willingness to mentor others Good German skills and very good English skills What We Offer You Your Work Location: A modern office in Neusäß (Augsburg) or Berlin, as well as the option to work remotely Your Time Off: 30 days of annual vacation Maximum Flexibility: Flexible work hours Monday through Friday Sustainable Commuting: A suitable mobility solution, such as the Deutschlandticket, etc. The mopla Team: Team events, including all-hands weeks and group team-building activities For Your Career: Opportunities for professional growth and regular training programs Your Salary: €65,000–90,000 per year
