The Role Design, develop, deliver - here's what you'll be responsible for: Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using TypeScript across frontend and backend technologies Build responsive, accessible user interfaces with React and Next.js while delivering exceptional user experiences across web platforms Develop secure, high-performance backend services, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL endpoints using Node.js frameworks such as Express or Fastify Design, optimise, and maintain relational databases while ensuring application performance, reliability, and scalability Implement authentication, authorisation, secure coding practices, and performance optimisation across the application stack Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from solution design and development through testing, deployment, and production support Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, automation initiatives, and the adoption of emerging technologies and AI-assisted development tools What We're Looking For A technically strong, solution-oriented software engineer: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in full stack software development Strong proficiency in TypeScript with proven experience developing applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, or Fastify Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL, including database design and optimisation, with experience using ORM tools such as Prisma Familiar with frontend state management, testing frameworks, secure authentication methods (JWT/OAuth), and modern web security best practices Experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Agile software development practices Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for learning new technologies and leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot Ready to build modern, scalable applications using the latest TypeScript technologies?
