Role: Python / Informatica Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ Fulltime – Permanent Job Description Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Strong hands-on experience in Python development Experience with Informatica PowerCenter (development, enhancements, and support) Strong SQL and database skills, including creating/modifying database tables, views, and queries Experience in application design, development, testing, and support Knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and data validation Experience working in Agile development environments Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills Excellent communication and coordination skills Good to Have Skills Banking/Financial Services domain experience Unix/Linux scripting Data warehousing concepts CI/CD and version control tools (Git, Jenkins) Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and test software solutions using Python and Informatica. Collaborate with business partners, architects, and development teams to ensure successful delivery of application solutions. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and development tasks. Develop and maintain database objects including tables, views, and related components based on business requirements. Create and execute unit test cases and ensure high-quality, defect-free deliverables. Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution as needed. Coordinate and communicate effectively with onsite leadership, developers, and distributed teams. Provide regular status updates and proactively escalate risks or issues. Work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring timely delivery. Guide and mentor development team members and support technical decision-making. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
