Senior Python Engineer

The role This role sits within the Core Engineering team, responsible for building a self-service, cloud-based enterprise web application that scales across every dimension — serving some of the world's most demanding enterprise clients, where releases must meet rigorous security standards and enterprise-grade SLAs. You will collaborate on improving the platform's architecture and streamlining the release process for rapid time-to-value, while helping to decouple a predominantly monolithic application so that feature teams can deliver updates swiftly and independently. You will build user-friendly features that support clients through their data management transformation and take end-to-end ownership from feature development through to achieving ambitious SLAs across hundreds of customer environments. The role involves working with fully multi-tenant systems, message queue services, and distributed systems environments, as well as collaborating on implementing AI-based features into the platform at scale. You will be expected to write clean, well-designed, documented, and testable code, with a strong emphasis on quality, consistency, and delivery speed — ensuring code is ready for deployment and operation in cloud environments. What we're looking for Strong experience in Python, ideally with FastAPI; Java expertise is also welcomed Comfortable with REST API and GraphQL for service communication Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure and common managed services (e.g. Aurora Serverless, managed AKS/EKS) Solid experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and related orchestration technologies Experience building fully multi-tenant and distributed systems, and working with message queue services like RabbitMQ General tech stack exposure expected: Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin, GraphQL, Python, FastAPI, jOOQ (backend); Aurora, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, S3 (storage); CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure (infrastructure); TypeScript, React/Vue, Apollo, Nx, MobX (frontend); Spark, Redshift, Snowflake (big data) Enjoys tackling complex applications and diving into research when intricate algorithms or data structures are needed Passionate about building secure cloud applications Comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of software engineering and operations Iterative mindset — prefers shipping and improving over over-engineering the first version What we offer Hybrid work arrangement based in Hanoi, Vietnam Full-time employment with full compensation during the probation period 13th-month salary 15 days of annual vacation leave Premium healthcare coverage Online company language courses Company-sponsored access to Udemy for continuous skills development Opportunity to work on a globally recognised, market-leading enterprise platform Collaborative, distributed global team with a high-ambition, knowledge-sharing culture
