Python Developers (Mid-level)

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Python Django Back-End Developer based in Kathmandu. Candidates with around 2 years of experience are preferred. The selected developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance back-end applications using Python and the Django framework. Key responsibilities include building and managing APIs, optimizing server-side functionality, integrating back-end services with front-end components, ensuring code quality through best practices, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires delivering reliable software solutions that align with business objectives and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Backend (Primary)Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python Django and Django REST Framework (DRF) Build, test, and maintain RESTful APIs Implement business logic, validations, and workflows Design and optimize database schemas and queries (PostgreSQL / MySQL) Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access Ensure backend security, performance, and scalability Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Debug and resolve backend issues across environments Collaborate with PM, frontend, and QA teams to clarify requirements Support Vue.js frontend integration with backend APIs Fix frontend issues related to data handling and API responses Make minor UI changes and bug fixes in Vue components Work with forms, validations, and state management as needed Coordinate with frontend developers to ensure smooth end-to-end flow Qualifications: Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including experience with Python and Django framework. Strong foundation in Software Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Experience with database management, RESTful API development, and version control systems (e.g., Git) is an advantage. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and excellent problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
