Staff DevOps Engineer

Staff DevOps Engineer $180k to $210k base + bonus San Diego, CA (Onsite) We are working with a well-known global enterprise software business that is looking to hire a Staff DevOps Engineer into its dedicated AI Enablement team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on building and scaling the infrastructure behind internal AI platforms, tooling, and developer workflows used across the wider engineering organization. What You’ll Do Build and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS Develop infrastructure-as-code with Terraform Help drive adoption of Kubernetes Build and maintain GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows Productionize and scale internal AI tools and platforms Improve monitoring, observability, deployment, and automation practices Create DevOps standards that can be adopted across engineering teams Automate workflows using Python and Bash What You’ll Bring Strong DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering experience AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes expertise Strong GitHub Actions and CI/CD experience Python and/or Bash scripting skills Experience with observability tooling A proactive, ownership-driven mindset Experience working in small, highly accountable engineering teams Interest in AI-assisted engineering and developer tooling Tech Stack AWS Kubernetes Terraform GitHub Actions Python Bash ECS OpenSearch / Elasticsearch Dynatrace GitHub Copilot Why Join?
