You will design and deploy real-time intelligence engines connecting LangChain, ML trend-detection models, and automated trading signal feeds used daily by commercial desks. What You Bring: 5+ Years Commercial Experience: Battle-tested background architecting, building, and maintaining high-throughput backend services. Under-the-Hood Computing Mindset: You understand how computers actually work, how Python was built, runtime execution, memory allocation, the GIL, concurrency, and I/O. A degree in Computing or Computer Science (or equivalent foundational depth) is strongly preferred. Python + Compiled Systems Language: Strong commercial experience with Python, combined with hands-on depth in at least one compiled language: Rust, Go (Golang), or Core Java . (No JavaScript/Node only backgrounds). Relational Database Design: Extensive experience architecting and optimising relational databases (PostgreSQL schema design, query optimisation, indexing strategies, and data integrity). End-to-End Delivery: A proven track record of taking complex backend systems from concept to delivery . Curiosity for Applied AI: Hands-on exposure to or a strong technical interest in integrating LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, tool calling, structured outputs, agentic workflows). As a Senior Engineer, you will: Take ownership of backend architecture, scaling data models, and system design using Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and modern systems tooling. Architect robust data ingestion pipelines that aggregate unstructured, multi-channel messaging into high-integrity data streams. Integrate LangChain and machine learning pipelines to detect market movements and deliver real-time buy/sell alerts to live traders.
