Java Developer with French

Would you like to join our international teams that deliver applications to businesses of BNP Paribas Group entities around the world? We are looking for a Java Developer colleague to join our team working together with colleagues from France. Your role is to develop software applications according to the business needs being involved in all phases of SDLC based on the Agile (Scrum) framework. Key responsibilities: Plan, develop and implement projects or features of large-scale projects, as part of the development team Develop solutions to improve performance and scalability of systems Assisting in Production issues Share knowledge about your area of expertise, best practices and provide functional support What we are looking for: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Java technologies, with expertise in Backend design & development Backend: Java Standard Edition (for legacy apps: 5-8; for evolutions: 17 or newer) Spring Boot, Spring Batch Relational database: Oracle DB / PostgreSQL Web services: REST API Design patterns, SOLID principles GIT (GitFlow, SemVer), Maven, CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins/Ansible/Gitlab CI) Hexagonal architecture Microservices Unit & integration testing Others: Quality gate: SonarQube Tools: Postman, SoapUI, Bruno Linux: Basic knowledge (regular user & root) Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud native concepts Agile (Scrum, SAFE) Although not required, would be considered a plus if you have knowledge about: API testing (Karate) Frontend: React/Angular/JSP SOAP API Autosys (for Batches) We are also interested in: Language skills: French - Able to communicate effectively in conversations (verbal, writing), and to understand documentation (main communication language inside the team) English - Able to communicate effectively in conversations and understand technical documentation Soft skills: Attention to details, analytical skills Good communication skills Team player mentality: ability and willingness to collaborate and support in a global team Self-driven, suggests ideas, has initiative Ability to work autonomously What we offer Benefits Online Platform – customized depending on your needs Private Medical Subscription Life Insurance Annual performance bonus and additional bonuses 24 days of annual leave Access to training and well-being platforms Hybrid way of working Various office perks such as massage, weekly fresh fruits, games room, monthly breakfast events and more Who are we?
