Devops Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 4-6 years of experience to support and enhance enterprise applications within a banking environment. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, monitoring solutions, and deployment processes while ensuring high availability, security, and compliance of banking applications. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and release management. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Manage and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Administer and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Ensure application availability, reliability, scalability, and performance. Implement DevSecOps practices, security controls, and compliance requirements aligned with banking standards. Collaborate closely with Development, QA, Security, Infrastructure, and Business teams. Configure and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions. Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis. Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Participate in disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and business continuity initiatives. Support application deployments across Development, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments. Required Technical Skills DevOps & Automation Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions Shell Scripting (Bash), Python Ansible, Terraform Containerization & Orchestration Docker Kubernetes (K8s) Helm Cloud Platforms AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform Cloud networking and security concepts Version Control Git, Bitbucket, GitHub Monitoring & Logging ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) Prometheus, Grafana Splunk (preferred) Operating Systems Linux Administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) Basic Windows Server Administration Security DevSecOps practices Vulnerability Management Secrets Management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault) Banking Domain Requirements Experience supporting critical banking or financial applications. Understanding of banking security, compliance, and audit requirements. Knowledge of high-availability architectures and disaster recovery frameworks. Experience in handling production environments with strict SLA adherence. Exposure to Core Banking, Digital Banking, Payments, Lending, Treasury, or Middleware platforms will be an advantage. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Relevant certifications such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), Terraform, or DevOps certifications are preferred.
