Context We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a dynamic Agile team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical business applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in software development, solution architecture, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality enterprise solutions. Key Responsibilities Understand, challenge, and refine business requirements, working closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives. Contribute to the design and architecture of Java-based applications while ensuring compliance with architectural guidelines and industry best practices. Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, promoting technical excellence and continuous learning. Take ownership of critical application components and lead development activities. Deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions within agreed timelines and budgets. Develop efficient, reusable, and maintainable code while adhering to software quality standards, design principles, and testing best practices. Conduct code reviews and promote development standards across the team. Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement innovative solutions to improve applications and services. Develop monitoring and alerting capabilities to support production environments and reduce operational impacts. Produce and maintain technical documentation in English. Communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project partners. Stay up to date with emerging Java technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects while ensuring a high level of end-user satisfaction.
