Our client is seeking a junior- to mid-level Software Engineer to help build, support, and scale the technology behind its real-time financial platform. This is an opportunity to work on complex, performance-sensitive systems while collaborating closely with engineers, business stakeholders, and other teams across the organization. What You’ll Do Design, develop, test, and support high-quality production software Build and enhance applications using Python and JavaScript Contribute to real-time, high-availability systems where performance and reliability matter Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions Improve infrastructure scalability, system performance, and operational resilience Strengthen CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment practices Research AI platforms and identify practical opportunities to incorporate emerging AI capabilities Help shape engineering standards, architecture, and processes as the team grows What We’re Looking For At least two years of professional software development experience Strong experience with Python and JavaScript Experience with AWS and related cloud tooling Familiarity with a Python web framework such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, or Tornado Experience with React or another modern JavaScript library or framework A solid understanding of software design, testing, debugging, and production support Strong communication skills and a collaborative, ownership-oriented mindset Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience preferred Experience That Stands Out Building or supporting real-time, low-latency, or high-throughput systems Working in financial services, electronic trading, exchanges, or market infrastructure Experience in a startup or fast-growing technology environment Exposure to infrastructure scaling, performance optimization, DevOps, or CI/CD Experience evaluating or building solutions with AI platforms and tools Why Join?
