Senior Python Engineer

Company Description TalTap is the largest on-demand workforce platform in Baltics that connects businesses with short-term workers, making hiring simple, efficient, and flexible. We've established operations in Latvia and Poland and are now expanding into Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). As we are expending , we are looking for Senior Python Engineer. What Were Looking For 4+ years of professional Python experience; Strong experience with Flask, FastAPI, and REST API development; Familiarity with Firebase and GCP cloud services (big plus!); Experience with cloud functions and scalable backend architectures; Passion for building clean, maintainable, and efficient code; Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment; A problem-solver who enjoys autonomy, taking ownership, and delivering results. What You'll Do Architect, build, and maintain the backend for TalTap's platform using Flask and FastAPI; You should be located in Riga, Latvia; Develop and enhance internal back-office tools to support business operations; Design and implement scalable APIs to power mobile and web applications; Leverage Firebase and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure seamless cloud-based solutions; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product requirements and deliver robust features; Drive technical decision-making and contribute to the overall architecture of our platform; Optimize performance, security, and reliability of backend services; (Future Growth) Lead and mentor a team of engineers as we scale.
