Due to continued growth of operations, we are seeking to recruit Automation Testing Engineers to join our Consulting services team. A typical day for an Automation Testing Engineer begins with morning meetings, where we sync with the development and product teams of our client and discuss the day's priorities. We spend a significant portion of our day designing, writing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure that new features and updates meet quality standards. This involves closely analyzing requirements, developing test plans, and setting up testing environments. We run automated tests, review the results, and log any defects found into the tracking systems. Collaboration is key, so we frequently communicate with our clients to troubleshoot and resolve issues. In addition, we participate in code reviews to maintain the integrity of the automated testing frameworks and provide feedback to improve quality. Continuous learning and staying updated with the latest automation tools and testing methodologies is also part of our daily routine, ensuring we can deliver the most efficient and effective testing solutions to our clients. Main Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Software development, DevOps, Business Analysts, etc.). Design, develop, and execute automated test cases and comprehensive test plans. Continuously enrich and maintain existing test suites to ensure maximum coverage. Own and drive the software quality assurance lifecycle including test strategy, execution, and reporting. Plan and coordinate testing activities, prioritizing effectively. Adhere with industry’s best practices and coding standards. Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or other related field. Experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance is considered as a plus. Solid understanding of Software QA methodologies, test strategies & automation frameworks. Hands-on experience with Playwright or other UI automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, UFT. Hands-on experience with API testing tools/frameworks like Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or Karate. Exposure to performance testing tools (such as JMeter, k6, Nbomber) and concepts is considered as a plus. Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages, such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or VBScript. Familiarity with Defect Management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Jira, etc. Good communicator with attention to detail. ISTQB or similar certifications will be considered a plus.
