Java Developer Experience: 2–7 Years Locations: Dallas, TX | New York, NY | Chicago, IL | Atlanta, GA Salary: $90,000–$170,000 per year Employment Type: Full-Time About The Role We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, SQL , REST APIs, and modern software development practices. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot. Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices. Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations. Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and code reviews. Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other developers. Improve application performance, reliability, security, and scalability. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical documentation. Required Qualifications 2–7 years of professional software development experience. Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java 8+, and object-oriented programming. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework. Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Experience developing REST APIs and microservices. Familiarity with Git and software development lifecycle practices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or similar testing frameworks. Knowledge of React, Angular, or other frontend technologies is a plus.
