Python Developer (US)

Python Developer Experience: 1–5 Years Locations: San Francisco, CA | New York, NY | Austin, TX | Seattle, WA Salary: $90,000–$175,000 per year Employment Type: Full-Time About The Role We are seeking a talented Python Developer to build, enhance, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, Django, REST APIs , databases, and modern software development practices. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable applications using Python and Django. Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services. Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code. Work with relational and NoSQL databases and optimize database queries. Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and code reviews. Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams. Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and security issues. Participate in Agile/Scrum development and contribute to technical documentation. Required Qualifications 1–5 years of professional software development experience. Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming. Hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework. Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and web services. Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Familiarity with Git and standard software development practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with FastAPI or Flask. Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with Redis, Celery, Kafka, or other distributed technologies. Knowledge of React, JavaScript, or TypeScript is a plus. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest.
