Benefits Join an innovative technology team within the growing healthcare sector Work across cloud platforms, automation, CI/CD and modern DevOps practices Brisbane-based hybrid role offering a mix of office and work-from-home flexibility About the opportunity An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology team developing sophisticated solutions within the healthcare and medical technology sector. Working closely with software engineers and other technical teams, you will help design, automate and continuously improve cloud platforms, development workflows and production environments. Responsibilities Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions Build, maintain and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines Partner with software engineers to improve deployment processes, system reliability and developer experience Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting and observability solutions Support security, compliance and governance across cloud environments Investigate technical and production issues, perform root cause analysis and implement improvements Support application performance, scalability, availability and operational readiness Develop and maintain technical documentation Drive automation and continuous improvement across development and operational environments Skills and Experience Degree qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience Commercial experience within DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering or Software Engineering Experience within medical devices, healthcare technology or another highly regulated environment is required Strong experience with public cloud platforms, ideally AWS Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of Linux-based systems, containers and distributed applications Understanding of networking, security, identity management and cloud architecture Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary technical teams Culture You’ll join a collaborative and innovative team that values technical excellence, continuous improvement and developing technology that supports better healthcare outcomes.
