React Developer Experience: 1–5 Years Locations: New York, NY | Austin, TX | San Francisco, CA | Chicago, IL Salary: $85,000–$165,000 per year Employment Type: Full-Time About The Role We are looking for a talented React Developer to build modern, responsive, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript , frontend architecture, and REST APIs. Key Responsibilities Develop scalable and responsive web applications using React.js. Build reusable, maintainable UI components using JavaScript and TypeScript. Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services. Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and usability. Write unit and integration tests and troubleshoot application issues. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams. Participate in code reviews, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and technical discussions. Maintain clean, well-documented, and reusable code. Required Qualifications 1–5 years of professional frontend development experience. Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and web standards. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming. Familiarity with Git and modern frontend development workflows. Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Next.js. Familiarity with React Hooks and modern React architecture. Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. Knowledge of Node.js and frontend build tools such as Vite or Webpack. Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker. Understanding of accessibility, web performance, and SEO best practices.
