Description

Senior Full Stack Product Engineer | AI | London Salary: £100,000 - £110,000 + equity Location: London, 5 days per week in office Tech: TypeScript, React / Vue / Svelte, Node.js + wider backend technologies If you're a Product Engineer who wants to work closer to the cutting edge of AI, while still obsessing over what makes a genuinely great product, this is worth a look. I'm working with an early-stage, well-backed AI company building sophisticated products for technical users and large enterprise customers. They're solving technically difficult problems around how AI is integrated into real-world workflows, particularly for organisations where reliability, security and performance really matter. They're now looking for a Senior Full Stack Product Engineer to take increasingly powerful AI capabilities and turn them into products people actually want to use. What you'll be doing You'll work closely across Product, Engineering, Design and technical R&D, with significant ownership over the user-facing product. That means: Building highly interactive web applications and developer-facing products Translating emerging AI capabilities into intuitive product experiences Working across frontend, backend, APIs and integrations Rapidly prototyping and validating new ideas Owning features from early concept through to production Maintaining a high bar for performance, reliability and usability Having a genuine say in product and technical direction What they're looking for You'll likely have 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience, with particular strength in modern frontend and product engineering. Ideally: Strong TypeScript and React, Vue, Svelte or similar Experience building complex, highly interactive applications Good backend engineering experience and understanding of APIs Experience shipping and maintaining production software Strong product instincts and an interest in developer experience Comfortable working with ambiguity and iterating quickly Experience with CI/CD, containerisation and modern cloud environments Experience across Node.js, Python or Go would be useful, but they're much more interested in engineering capability than ticking every technology box. Why consider it? You'll be joining a small, highly technical AI company at a point where there's real commercial traction but still considerable scope to influence what gets built and how. You'll be surrounded by people working at the sharp end of AI, while your role is focused on the equally difficult problem of turning that technology into useful, reliable and intuitive products. One important point: this is five days per week in their London office. It's intentional and won't suit everyone. In return, they're serious about sustainable working: good work life balance, very competitive holiday, equity and no expectation of evenings or weekends! If you're excited by AI, technically challenging products and having real ownership over what users experience, drop me a message or email [email protected].
