What You’ll Be Doing: Develop and maintain applications using Java as your core language. Work on backend services and integrate with SQL databases. Learn and apply best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with guidance from senior team members. Tech Stack You’ll Be Using: Languages: Java (primary), SQL, Python Frameworks & Tools: Spring Boot, REST APIs Cloud: AWS Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL Collaboration: Git, Jira, Confluence What We’re Looking For: Coding bootcamp graduates, apprenticeship graduates, early-career technologists, or STEM graduates in disciplines such as Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or related fields, with a passion for software development and problem-solving. Based in Birmingham or have the ability to relocate, with enthusiasm for being part of a collaborative team environment onsite 5 days per week. Some experience with Java development (academic, commercial, or personal projects). Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases. Exposure to Python for scripting or automation tasks.
