Description

Generative AI / Python Engineer (Oslo) Join a product engineering team building next-generation AI capabilities into an established enterprise platform. You'll be responsible for designing, prototyping and delivering production-grade Generative AI features that solve real customer problems and integrate into complex business workflows. Responsibilities: Design and build Generative AI features from concept through to productionDevelop AI-powered workflows, agents and automation capabilitiesBuild and optimise RAG pipelines using structured and unstructured dataIntegrate LLMs with internal knowledge bases, business systems and domain-specific datasetsWork closely with product, engineering and domain experts to deliver scalable AI solutionsEvaluate emerging AI technologies and identify practical applications within the platformContribute to the wider software architecture and engineering standards of the teamLeverage AI-assisted development tools as a core part of the engineering workflow Requirements:Strong commercial Python development experienceExperience delivering Generative AI products or features into production environmentsHands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or similarStrong understanding of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Prompt engineering, Embedding models, Vector databases and AI workflow designExperience integrating LLMs with enterprise data sources and knowledge repositoriesComfortable working with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or equivalentBachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent technical discipline Beneficial:Experience with Anthropic / Claude APIsExposure to MLOps practices and deployment pipelinesExperience delivering AI solutions within enterprise B2B productsKnowledge of engineering, industrial, energy or scientific datasetsUnderstanding of Harness Engineering and agent-based systems About the Technology Environment you would work in: Azure cloud platformKubernetes-based microservices architectureLarge-scale enterprise applicationsModern software engineering practicesAI-first development culture Ideal candidates: We're interested in engineers who understand that successful AI products require more than simply connecting to a model. You should have some exposure to the emerging concept of Harness Engineering: designing the systems, workflows, context, tooling and controls around foundation models that enable them to perform meaningful work reliably in production. While deep expertise is not expected, candidates should be able to demonstrate awareness of this space and a genuine interest in how AI agents are evolving within modern software platforms.
